The Fred M. Ellis Memorial Campground is a small camping area located on the edge of the Little Belt Mountains, 1/8 of a mile outside of the Lewis and Clark National Forest Service. This campground is on the C.M. Russell Trail,which runs along the South Fork of the Judith River. It is located on private property, but open for public use. You can find all kinds of recreational opportunities in this area such as: hiking, motorbiking, ATV, horseback riding, fishing and hunting. Enjoy!

25 Miles from Highway 87 and the town of Windham:
Starting from Highway 87, turn onto MT-541 for 11 miles until you reach the town of Utica, at the Utica Loop turn right onto the gravel road, Pigeye Rd, which turns into S. Fork Road and keep going for about 14 miles, campground will be on the left.
