Camping on Sheep Creek5,800 ft.
Jumping Creek Campground is a great campground for all kinds of recreation. From this campground, you are in the nexus of several trail heads good for hiking, biking, ATV, 4x4. There are great fishing opportunities on Sheep Creek, which runs directly through the campground. The creek is slow moving and winding around small pieces of land that make it great for finding eddies full of smaller sized mountain fish! Well maintained trails are located within 5 minutes in either direction that take you deeper into the Little Belts. You can find services located in Neihart, MT 20 miles north and White Sulphur Springs, MT 20 miles south. The campground was reopened in 2016 after being closed due to hazard trees, since then, the trees have been removed and the campground has resumed as usual.
RESERVATIONS FOR CAMPING ARE NOT REQUIRED. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
